When you go to Template->’Page Elements’ you’ll notice that it only lets you add one Blog Archive Widget. If you already have one on your page it just says”Already added” instead of giving you the “Add To Blog” button
There’s an easy way around this limitation however. just go to Template->’Edit HTML’ and leave the ‘Expand Widget Template’ checkbox unchacked. Now find the line that reads
And just copy and paste it to the wherever you want, making sure to give it a new id. Naming it BlogArchive2 does the trick. And now you can have the multiple Blog Archive widgets and change each one’s options independently (which give you the possibility of having a hierarcy, flat list, and drop-down in the same blog).
